There’s the squeal of bus slowing down to pick up the patiently waiting passengers & out the rolled down windows flows the chatter of kids filled with excitement and nervous energy as they drive on by. Eat Pray Love…And Shop

Mega hit Eat Pray Love, based on the incredibly popular book by Elizabeth Gilbert has turned into a huge merchandise campaign that includes clothing, jewelry, candles, perfumes and home decor. It has even inspired our Etsy friends.

Elizabeth Gilbert lives in a quaint river town not too far from my home. It is a place where I love to eat by the Delaware River, walk the river path and shop in all the cute stores. In fact, I bumped into the famous Elizabeth enjoying the same path by the river not too long ago. When she is not writing, meeting with Oprah or meeting with big movie reps…she runs her unique imports shop with hubby Jose called Two Buttons. Here is a little peek into their warehouse.

NYC Loves Jeff Lewis

He’s here folks. Bravo’s Jeff Lewis is in The Big Apple. He has unveiled his sleek, California-modern House Beautiful Kitchen of The Year right in the middle of Rockefeller Plaza! Jersey Shore Reality Check

If you live in the U.S. you may have noticed all the attention New Jersey has been getting on the so-called “reality” TV shows. Last time I checked, there was MTV’s Jersey Shore, Bravo’s NJ Housewives, Style Channel’s Jerseylicious and I just saw a new one advertised on the Oxygen network called Jersey Couture. Enough already! Being a Jersey girl myself I think I can say that not one of them comes close to depicting the real New Jersey. Maybe I shouldn’t let out the big secret that most of New Jersey isn’t really like that.
The best thing about New Jersey in my opinion is the Jersey Shore. Each beach does have it’s own personality. I love the quiet, family areas with sand dunes instead of boardwalks, where you can hear the seagulls instead of carnival music. There are plenty of beautiful places to visit at the Jersey Shore.
I found out about the Bungalow Hotel at the Jersey Shore from Sixx Design. They helped design this gorgeous boutique hotel. Take a peek into the other side of New Jersey…
