June is for Parties

June seems to be the month of parties. Lots of birthdays and graduation/end of school year parties. To create the instant summer party mood, decorate with flowers, candy, streamers & balloons. The most important key for a summer party is to use color and lots of it! Here are a few pics to give you inspiration!

Set The Table

Summer and entertaining go hand in hand. A beautifully set table can make all the difference for a great summer get together. Keeping it simple is my best advice. Take advantage of all the blooming flowers to decorate. Here is a collection of daily decorator favorites…

Using fruit either as centerpieces or as “name cards” is a fresh and fun look.

Love buckets of flowers. Nothing too fancy but it has a crisp, summer look with the white and lavender on the table.

An oversized display of orchids and ribbons draped on the table take this table over the top.

Eddie Ross (a Top Design finalist and formerly of Martha Stewart Living) is the king of table setting chicness. He sets his tables with flea market finds for a classy look.
