Open For Business!!!

January 6th, 2009

IT IS OFFICIAL!  The Daily Decorator is open for business.  Welcome and thanks for visiting!  To get things started, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things in my home (aside from my 3 kids, hubby and boston terrier).  The best part about personalizing your home with your favorite things is that it doesn’t have to be filled with expensive items.  For example, in my first fav pic, I took greens from the Christmas tree farm that we went to this year and collected extra branches for use on my mantles.  Price-FREE!  I wish I could use this look more than just once a year.  I also keep a file of magazine clippings of favorite items that I would love to have in the future.  The best way to design a home is over time with a collection of items from different places.  Nothing worse than a room that was plucked from a showroom and exactly replicated into your home.  So hopefully these images will give you a glimpse of my design style and personality.  Enjoy!
