As a big supporter of artists and crafters from around the world, the daily d was happy to find out about mixed-media artist Dolan Geiman.

Originally from rural Virginia, Dolan now resides in Chicago where he uses found objects, salvaged wood and other recycled materials to create his works of art.  He has become a master at reclaiming and reinventing abandoned materials into truly unique works of art.   His collection includes collages, paintings, silkscreens and wood assembleges using vintage-style imagery with a modern, urban edge.  His dedication to recycling is part of his art process as well as his lifestyle and brings him to the forefront of ec0-minded artists.

Along with the help of Ali Walsh, his business partner and fiancé, Dolan has been able to gain national recognition as an artist and his work can be found in retail stores like Cog and Pearl and Artful Home (to name 2), art shows across the United States, etsy and at his web site, dolangeiman.com.
